Workplace Ergonomics For Chronic Pain
Pain shouldn’t stop you from working—
and working shouldn’t cause pain.

Workplace Seating
for Chronic Pain
Chronic pain can make workdays uncomfortable—filled with sitting, standing, shifting, and repositioning to try to get some relief. It doesn’t have to stay this way.
I specialize in working with people with chronic pain to develop individualized seating strategies. Many people with ongoing pain unknowingly hold tension in their muscles throughout the day, which can increase discomfort. My approach focuses on optimizing your physical setup (chair, desk, components) while also building a practical pain self-management toolbox to help your body settle and stay supported.
The “right chair” rarely exists in isolation—it works best as part of a full pain management plan. Let’s transform your workday into something more comfortable, productive, and manageable.
Selecting The Right Peripherals
Repetitive strain and discomfort are common in computer-based work, especially when devices aren’t well matched to the person using them.
My assessment focuses on selecting and setting up peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and headsets to reduce strain and support more comfortable movement throughout the day—especially for those managing ongoing pain or fatigue. Small changes in setup can make a meaningful difference in how your body feels over time.

"Use the Force"
Well, it’s almost The Force.
With a focus on technology, I provide training and assessment for dictation and voice command software. This allows you to use your computer hands-free more often, reducing reliance on typing and mouse use.
For many people, this can significantly reduce strain and make computer work more manageable throughout the day—especially for those managing pain or fatigue.
(Note: Darth Vader does not have a good ergonomic setup.)
