Assistive Devices Program (ADP)
Ontario Ministry of Health
The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) provides funding for Ontario residents to purchase essential mobility devices for use in the home and community. To qualify, the device must be required for mobility within the home.
Devices may include forearm crutches, walkers, rollators, manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and scooters. An assessment by an ADP Authorizer is required, along with a valid OHIP card.
ADP also provides funding for basic communication devices. As an ADP Authorizer for Communication Aids, I can help determine the most appropriate device for your needs.

Home and Vehicle Modification Program
March of Dimes
The Home and Vehicle Modification Program (HVMP), offered by March of Dimes, provides funding to eligible Ontario residents with low or fixed incomes for accessibility modifications to their home and/or vehicle, up to $15,000.

Assistive Devices Program
March of Dimes
March of Dimes is no longer able to offer the Assistive Devices Program, which previously helped fund the client portion of mobility devices. Their support has played an important role in helping Ontarians access essential equipment.
I would like to acknowledge and thank March of Dimes and their supporters for the impact they have had. I encourage Ontarians to contact their local MPP to advocate for improved funding for mobility devices.
