ADP Mobility Assessments
I am a qualified ADP Authorizer for mobility aids through the Assistive Devices Program (Ontario Ministry of Health). I assess your mobility needs and recommend appropriate devices and strategies to improve mobility, reduce the risk of falls, and help you get back to the daily activities you enjoy.
Coverage
Occupational therapy assessments and mobility devices are often covered by private insurance. Contact your provider to determine your coverage.
ODSP and OW recipients may be eligible for an assessment and full coverage of their mobility device when prescribed by an ADP Authorizer such as myself.
Types of Devices
I am trained to assess and prescribe a variety of mobility devices. I assess your needs, identify the most appropriate device, provide education on its use, and support you as your needs change.
